Oh, I forgot I had this! This is from when I was on my recent “art break.” But then you might ask “But rdkenshin/Robert/Ken-chan/whatever you want to call me, why, during your art break, were you creating hilariously cute videogame comics?” The answer? TO WIN, BITCHES.

It was a Photoshop contest and the theme was “What happens when Kirby eats objects he usually doesn’t.” The things ranged from the Prince from the game Katamari Damacy to Hitler. And there’s me, #12! With 47 votes! 1st place. If there’s one thing that will make me create art, it’s definitely gotta be a competition. The prospects of winning! The valor! The glory!

If you don’t know who Kirby is here’s a wiki page about him [link] Kirby is a character first seen in the videogame Kirby’s Dream Land on the Gameboy. He has an odd ability to inhale opponents via vacuum suction OF THE MOUTH and upon swallowing said opponent, steals their special ability.

It’s almost impossible to NOT know who Kirby is though, since this is the Internet. Have you seen this before?: (>’’)> Chances are you most definitely have. That’s Kirby! He’s cool.

That contest up there was posted on the Penny Arcade forums, a forum for the popular webcomic about videogames, Penny Arcade. Definitely the smartest and funniest forum I have ever been to. You might not see that at first glance though. You have to wade through all the sarcasm and inside jokes to find their deranged intellectual properties.

Anyway, about the comic. I thought “What happens when one Kirby eats another?” That was my conclusion. Some sort of inbred BEAST, and is also unpleasant to look at. You might think that you have the “true answer” is you’ve played Super Smash Bros. wherein you can play multiple Kirbys, and nothing happens when they eat each other… well that’s a lie! That’s only SSB, not a real Kirby game. So

I’m a little afraid someone might have stolen this. The sheer size and popularity of Penny Arcade attracts lots of different people. I didn’t put my little Copyright thingy on it and I’m only posting it here now. Please inform me if you have seen this comic anywhere else. I can prove my innocence with, you know, the original Photoshop file. With the layers and all that jazz. Although I hope it doesn’t resort to that… I’m getting ahead of myself
