Bio/Personality:
Few years after Sunny and Dream were older, the moms wanted to try for one more kid. This time Applejack was the one to carry the baby, and RD was extremely relieved. However the baby was born two months early and had to stay under supervision for a while. But once the little foal was home everything was fine. Big sisters liked helping out with the baby, they would play with it and tell stories. As Zapp was getting older and understanding the world a little bit, he realized he didn't really identify with being a female. He was scared to tell his moms, not because he feared them not understanding, but because he thought they would be sad their daughter isn't actually a daughter. He was still rather small, so he didn't realize how stupid that is.
Zapp decided to first come out to Apple Dream, since they were the closest in age. She reassured him that everything will be okay, and surely it was. The moms were happy their son could be himself and they only loved him more. Since then he told them everything and became closer with them.
His personality is very diverse. Zapp can be quite stoic, but sometimes cowardly. He is very straightforward with his feelings. He can get overwhelmed at times, but he knows he can rely on his family. He is very friendly and charming. Sometimes he slips up and says something stupid, but others don't mind. He is also very relaxed most of the time when spending time with others.
Zapp would like to one day be a well known athlete. As much as Wonderbolts interest him, he's more of a soloist. He has many great tricks practiced and even more in the works. He usually gets inspired by the mundane life or even the flow of nature. Dream helps him out with his stunts too. His stunts are also often very dangerous, but he is confident in his skill.
Cutie Mark:
Zapp's cutie mark is a prism with lightning in front of it. He got it while performing an extremely complex and dangerous stunt. He flew through a charged lighting cloud, creating rainbow trail behind him. The lightning traced the trail creating spectacular sight, however it caught up to him as he was turning. He went straight through the lightning, getting zapped right into the eye, but despite that he finished the stunt with "grand" explosive landing.
Relationships:
His relationship with his moms is great. He loves talking to them and discussing life. Even though he is more of a performer than competitor, he likes racing with RD. He often asks her for flying advice, as her techniques are more developed and versatile. He also adores annoying her during her afternoon naps. With AJ he does more mild activities. They talk about family a lot. He too likes helping out like the other siblings but usually AJ only asks him to cook, as he is the best at it from all of them.
Him and Dreamy are best buds. They do a lot of fun activities together like racing. Zappy also likes watching Dream at work. He helps her out with confidence and performing. They help out each other a lot and Zapp relies on his sister a lot.
Zappy idolizes Sunny, or Ray as he calls her. Even though she's not a racer, he still admires how capable she is. They don't spend too much time together, but when they do it's usually Zapp talking.
Other Facts:
- Zapp is quite self conscious because of his height, since everyone else in the family is fairly tall.
- he can't see from his left eye, unsurprisingly.
- He is a very greedy eater, despite his size he usually eats the most out of everyone.
- He is a great baker and cook, specializes in pastries.
- His tail is only short because it burned up so many times it won't grow out any more.
