I love this! The coloring, pose, etc. is great! I don't really like the background though... I think it should've been a blue-green color, maybe abstract, instead of a flat, overly bright color.

Yeah, the more I look at it, I really should have used a bit darker shade. Blue-green would have been interesting, but I liked the contrast between the blue hair and red... but yeah, background here is definitely hurting the eyes.

wait? how did you upload the lineart into an oekaki canvas? there is such an option? or you have your own board? (???)

The upload option is available on Xenolegacy's (a Xenosaga fansite) oekaki board. However, a lot of people have been abusing that option there, and just uploading non-oekaki drawings for the sole purpose of showing off their non-oekaki work. Therefore, it's pretty much a rule there that if you do upload something that wasn't done in oekaki, you have to use oekaki to modify it. Otherwise, it would not belong on an oekaki board! ^_^
But yeah, most oekaki boards don't allow general users the upload option.

Great work as always. I like the more directly anime-influenced coloring you did for her. It remins me a little of the animation. The metal/solid bits on her outfit are shaded really well. That stuff can be so difficult ^_^;
You know, I still think the previous epsidode's outfits were better lol. Oh well, can't complain, Namco is God.
