Description
On our way home from Massanutten last week we stopped at Showwalter's Orchard near Timberville and purchased a bushel of apples. This older Studebaker truck was at the edge of the parking lot. I wanted to get more of a full size shot, but, there were unwanted distractions in the background. In this case a dumpster and a pile of metal. So, I decided to move in close. So far this week I have canned six pints of applesauce and made two batches of apple butter (4 pints and 9 half pints). Now I need to start cutting up the remaining apples up and putting the dehydrator.
