Description I finally got ponysonas of the villagers from "Kubo and the Two Strings", at least the three most prominent ones

Commentary (about cutie marks)
From Left to Right:

Hasato: He has a lantern for a cutie mark for a two fold reason.  First, it's basically the same lantern he and his daughter Mari used in the movie during the lantern festival.  Second, it reflects his warmth and guidance as a father.

Hashi: His cutie mark is simply the golden lotus on his lapels.  It may look self-explanatory, but it does connote nicely that he's a form of authority in the village.

Kameyo: One can guess why her cutie mark is two yen and a lint ball.  Still, aside from reflecting her impoverished lifestyle, it's also sweet if one imagines her destiny is to be content with a little happiness and exuberantly find joy wherever she goes.

More commentary: The color of their magic aura is highly symbolic of their nature. Hasato has orange magic because, as I said before, it reflects his fatherly warmth.  Hashi's is a shout-out to his voice actor in "Mortal Kombat" ("Your soul is mine!").
Kameyo's purple magic is my favorite because it represents her role at the end of the movie, acting as a mediator between cold (Raiden) and warmth (Kubo), just as purple connects blue and red.

Enjoy!
