My final entry for the Feet or Fins Challenge!

Mixture: (WOLF) (ORCA WHALE)

Bio: Known as the "real sea wolf", the Timber Orca is reckoned as one of the fiercest apex predators of its country, feared on both land and sea. The native tribes have deemed it "the gleeful killer" because its eye spots and curled mouth make it look like a sadist as it bears down upon its prey. Although there's no refuting it has monstrous tendencies, the Timber Orca has more facets to its nature than killing. When not sating their ravenous appetites, the Alpha Matriarch tends to her mate and family's needs, tending to them and nurturing them as best as a mother and grandmother and wife can. They are often caring towards one another, sticking together to hunt for fish and moose, and showing a playful side in their down time. They're also freedom-loving and can't stand to so much as stay in a hut for too long, as they grow unhappy and restless. The most mysterious and haunting things about them are their howls, echoing their prayers to find one another...

Commentary: This was my favorite out of them all! Sometimes, it takes making a whale look snuggly and cuddly as a wolf to make it work. The trick to its outline was a dry layer of royal/navy blue, coupled with a layer of light blue to give it an opal-like appearance. I loved giving this creature its rolls of fat to make it look extra fluffy. And shading the white parts in light blue was a last minute addition.
