Formerly known as Kira, this she-cat was once from Targos under the familiar name of Darvis, her mother, Zia Darvis dying, and faer father, Edgin Darvis, captured trying to steal the revival stone, Kira was under influence of faer uncle, Forge, and shunned away faer father once he returned, learning that Forge was using faer all along, fae believed no one should ever be trusted, instead running away to live rouge in the deep wilderness.

Though it was this that she found her soulmate and the eventual deputy of her own clan, Airypounce, who at the time was named Airy as a rouge. Airy slipped on a slippery waterfall and almost died on impact of the rocks, but gone unconscious instead. Kira helped the tom recover, and the two met each other. Kira took him to the moonlight jellyfish caves, where she called home, and started a friendship together. Airy took Kira one day to meet Calculatory, his little brother. The three decide to create a clan of their own, naming it ONEclan, Kira, as the savior of Airy, was the obvious choice for such leadership. At this time, Kira had already caught on to having feelings for Airy. Kira then appointed Airy for such a task as deputyship because she trusted him. The three found a sacred place to visit Starclan in, and Kira got her nine lives and leader's name.

She was now known as Kirastar from that moment on.
