Oh my goodness, the horrors I had to go through to complete this! First there was an update to Windows 10, that caused the way that Wacom(and other tablets) interacted with Windows to be broken. With thousands, if not millions of reports from professionals, students and hobbyists being unable to write, let alone draw. You'd think ol Microsoft would get on it ASAP and rectify things...they didn't...they kept releasing further updates that didn't fix a dang thing. For a good 2-3 weeks before starting to work, I'd check online for another tweak to get things back to normal, try it out with limited success. It got so bad that at one point, I migrated to my Macbook from college, and I'm someone who isn't a big fan of making art on a Mac. Did I mention that a couple updates caused the ever lovely Blue Screen of Death? Yeah that was fun! Another update was released a couple days ago and things seemed to have settled down.
tl;dr: Windows released an update that nearly bricked my tablet and my desktop itself. Things are working now!
