Well, that's Octavia and her class traumatised for a while...~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Oh gods, this is actually done. Sure, I only started it on Wednesday, but phew... a comic strip. Done.
Hope to gods the music theory in this is actually correct, 'cause that's how I understand it.
EDIT: Apparently, what I called the 'Imperfect Cadence' is known as a 'half cadence.' After asking my music teacher who taught me about this and finding out he had never heard of one before and then after searching the internet, we came to the conclusion that its called different things around the world. So... yah. I'm gon' check these comics with an international audience before posting them, jus' to make sure I get every angle. Want it to be as edumacational as possible.

Combines two of my favorite things, music theory and Octavia. Brought all those memories of studying theory for hours in college back to me.

Also, Rainbow Rocks had terms "Adagio" ( Slow and calm tune. Character Adagio was singing that way ) "Aria" and "Soneta" ( Opposite types of music- Aria is song with music but no singing and soneta is opposite- singing but no music. Characters Aria and Soneta were total opposites and always arguing ). Clever those writers are, aren't they?

Heh, glad you learned something! I've been trying to write music recently, but I come up with an idea, which is cool and all, but I have no idea whatsoever where to go from it or how to get into it. It's awkwaaard.

The only cadence I remember was related to marching when I was in the Army. Never went far with my copious amounts of musical talent...

In basic training, I was so precise in Drill & Ceremonies, I was chosen to "straighten up" all the other privates who couldn't figure it out. To this day, I still have the most crisp and sharpest salute.
