Personality- bold, practical and analytical, loyal, introverted, comes off as mature and tough but is sweet when you get to know her, snarky, will not ever give up or admit she’s wrong, independent to a fault, witty, loud-mouthed but understanding, fights fiercely to protect her friends and herself, energetic, holds grudges depending on scenario, has extremely skewed morals, salty, generally helpful and responsible when she feels she needs to be, judgmental, optimist, can be manipulative and self-serving, modest, observant, risk-taker and rule-breaker, tends to miss the ‘big picture’ and focuses too much on the present, quick-thinker, can be disorganized, hardworking, wary of large changes

Backstory- Kiah lived in a small, walled, self-sustaining southeastern town that was unknown to most people. She had a good childhood, with loving parents and several friends, but when she was only nine, a fire got out of hand and her village burned to the ground. Kiah and a few friends were camping outside the town that night, so they escaped the flames, but everyone else was trapped, and they were killed. Being only kids, the survivors didn’t know what to do, and the oldest of the group decided to head to a nearby city he had heard of, so the others agreed and they traveled to Clarion (see Forgotten Demons). They managed to get there, and were extremely lucky to end up in Lorick, one of the two generally calmer and safer districts. But the group was still completely alone, with no resources, food, money, or anything. Some of them resorted to begging, but Kiah and several others found it more profitable to steal what they needed. Over time, the group split up more and more, but Kiah and another girl named Twill stayed together and moved to the district of Sidra, working as a team to steal (and eventually, work and trade for) what they need.
Later on, when people discovered what had happened to Kiah’s town, there were signs that it had not been an accident, but an attack. No one was able to find out for sure, but Kiah is determined to find out the truth, one way or another. She suspects that Indigo’s bandit group may have been involved, but doesn’t know for sure.

Other- stutters slightly when nervous, can and will fight anyone who is condescending to her
