Personally I was really hoping for him to be added to Smash, so I'm very happy about it. He's the first dlc character in Ultimate I'm actually excited about!

My favorite addition was Banjo, but everyone has their preferences. Even so, I'm excited to see just how many people are just crying at all of this.

I agree that Byleth is by far the most diverse FE character we've seen added to Smash, with only Robin or Corrin being anywhere close to being as unique. And yes, we need to all just give our thanks to Sakurai and his crew for all the effort they put into making this game for us. It still disappoints me to know that there will always be people that are just absolutely ungrateful, despite everything that they have been given.Β

I agree, people don't appreciate all the effort that's been put into the game. Like, it must hard to program a new character's every move and action, then adapt it into the game, so all the other fighters, the stages and whole environment could interact with that character. It must be a lot of work. Not to mention the legal bit when it's a third party character. Must be a lot of paperwork. So there is a lot to do.
But sadly there will always be people who only complain. They'll calm down eventually. They don't have another choice

I really love how you've rendered his hair here and conveyed anisotropy on his armour (which may or may not have been intentional, but hey it looks good!)
The lighting here also makes this work really pop. Overall, amazing work!
