I finished all of the pony prints a while ago, but I wanna touch up some of them.lol is the background too lazy? I did it to look like the show style but it doesn't really fit her.
Anyway sorry about lack of activity, trying to do con stuff and school. Less time on dA and I haven't responded to all of my messages.

Last week I did 4 pony prints so I have them all done! They need touching up though. And I finally got my button maker!!! It's much easier than I thought to use. I'm super hyped to make buttons, but I think since buttons and charms and stickers even are things I can do myself and do pretty fast, I will dedicate only the last 2-3 weeks to them. Is that too little?? I really need more time for more prints.
Awwww noo ;__; I briefly saw your sketches on your critique journal though, those look really good. (saw no glaring flaws or anything, I actually really like Bert's hands.... they're nice). Your prints seem to be going well!

Yeah!! I've made some test buttons for my friends with printer paper. I'm going to try making nicer ones with better paper. I need to actually design things to put on the buttons haha. I don't have much time left, only 12 prints and nothing else. I'm gonna go crazy on buttons/stickers/charms the last 2 weeks before the con.

But anyway, I got my prints already! They shipped Monday the 6th and I got them today, Wednesday the 8th. Shipped from New York to Michigan. So yeah, shipping is pretty fast!

Catprint probably has superior quality but their prices will fuck you so hard you won't be able to walk. I mean I put in an order for *twelve* 11x17s (4 copies of three different jobs) and it was already $40 plus shipping. So imagine how much it would cost to add like 13 more jobs.
BVC was $40 AFTER shipping and about *16 different jobs*. I mean each job cost like 1-3 dollars, and I ordered at least 10 copies for each job.
So yeah. If you ever venture into the online world of printing I definitely recommend Best Value Copy. Unless you find a website that's cheaper. I bet you can't

Oh yeah by the way, out of curiosity, today I counted the number of copies I got for each job. For the 4x6 ones, I ordered 10 copies each (and 20 for a Jeanmarco one). .... I got 20+ copies of each 4x6, AND for the Jeanmarco one, they gave me 50 copies. These guys take quality control really, really seriously. XD Or maybe they sensed I doubted myself judging by how many copies I asked for, and they felt bad so they threw in more copies ///hit So yeah there's a good chance you'll get more copies than you asked for. Even MORE bang for your buck. How about that eh?

Oh yeah, I have a question to ask. Did you paint in CYMK or did you convert it before printing? Or did you let them do it? Is there a big color difference? Your look nice and shiny so I'm curious. because CYMK is for printing but it makes pictures so much darker.

Hmm as far as I know, I didn't change any of the color settings, I just converted to them to PDF as they are. Though I think this does change the color a bit so yesterday I selected "let printer manage colors" or w/e and the colors seem more accurate that way? The color on my prints are slightly different from the image files themself. Idk haha

Okay thanks a ton! This helps out. CYMK mode is what it has(?) to be in for printing and it makes it look so much... bleh-er. But yours look nice so I will just do what you did XD

Yeah I'm kind of scared of CMYK but my sister insisted that's what I convert my stuff to so yeah XD I just placed my second order from Best Value Copy, fingers crossed the colors come out decently
