Description
So I finally got the chance to watch Nicolas Winding Refn's new film Valhalla Rising. It was a very dark and cerebral viking film. Needless to say I loved it, and this weeks Thor Thursday is very much so inspired by that movie.ThorThursday.blogspot.com

I like it, except for Thor's dark hair. To my knowledge in the Norse myths he was a redhead (I love redheads), unlike the horrible Marvel depiction.

Great concept. You know, I liked the start of Valhalla Rising, but I was lost in the last half. Using the chain to snap the guy's neck at the beginning was a great start, though.

I know and own that movie..but our friend here reminds me of Drogo.. portrayed by Jason Momoa in 'Game of Thrones'. The dreads, the beard and off course..the build

Very nicely done. I like how these chestplates from Marvel's Thor return to this rather traditional Thor in form of warpaint! That's what I think it looks like.

not that superhero stuff (sry but I just don't like the marvel thor at all,
a viking god shouldn't wear a skintight leather costume imo

This is a great take on the god of thunder. Just as MrNymblas stated most others have quite a different take on him. Ofcourse that is simply because there's are the comic version of Thor as yours is clearly the mythological god Thor. Anywho, I love the brutality of yours.
