Ahh~ I felt like I needed to draw some more. Here's the original meme if you want to do it as well! [link]

The first playthrough I had, I was planning to have a rivalmance with Fenris. But guess what? I did not have 100% rivalry with Fenris (there was no way I could add to it without basically restarting the game.), so he left me. Isabella left me too. Which made me really sad because she was one of my favorites.

Dragon Age 2 was a good game, but it was lacking in many areas.

Rant below, WARNING

For instance: I did not feel the same connection between the characters in II like I did in Origins. Even though you know the characters in II for a decade, you still don't feel close to them at all. Origins took place less than.. what was it? A couple of months to a year? Yet I felt so much closer to the characters than in II.

I did not like the romance options. Fenris was too whiny. He was always complaining about his problems and was always, as Varric says, broody. I guess that's why his "romantic" moments were a bit more rewarding, but I still didn't feel it all too much. Oh yeah, Anders was whiny too. I don't really have to explain that one though do I?

I know this game was made in only a year, but it still doesn't make up for all the laziness that was obviously shown. The game only takes under 24 hours to beat. I felt there was no real goal to the game like there was in Origins. In Origins, I knew my purpose. To kill the Arch Demon. In II it was all over the place. No real goal. All I was doing was random quests that somehow ended up making sense in the end. (kinda.) Oh yes, and as every other DA2 player knows: the overuse of certain buildings, caves, mansions...etc.

All in all, I do not believe this game was worth the $60 it asked for. I also bought this game 4 days before it went on sale for 40%. Lucky me, huh?

I still think the game is good though. Why would I be doing a meme if I didn't think so? The game forces you to make heart wrenching decisions at times. Sounds bad, but it brings more excitement into you life, haha~ I recommend other people to play it.
