Description A painting for my grandma's new house.

Tried to work on facial anatomy and fur texture for a winter coat. I'm not thrilled with the body, but I got sick of working on it. The print for my grandma looks nice and that's what matters. Now we just wait for her house to be completed...

Yes, I did work directly from the ref photo because this was a study piece for me.

WOW! I seriously thought this was a photograph. I love the colors and the realistic shading. The eye is SO pretty, and the mane and forelock look really silky and shiny.
