That's a very nice spare time you have there...

So, here he is. Two weeks, a broken sewing machine and a cut-beyond-recognition thumb later, my Creeper plushie is finished. I've called him Astley.

Astley the reformed Creeper....

WHERE MY YOGNAUTS AT?!

This handsome devil is a plushie Creeper, which is an aggressive mob in the legendary game of Minecraft. He stands at about 20 inches high. He's made of green polar fleece with furry black detailing and is stuffed with your everyday plushie stuffing. The green colour doesn't come out at all well in the photo, but it's still not very Creeper-accurate IRL. I had another type and colour of fabric in mind when I started but I couldn't find it, and I'm a very impatient person so I went with what I could get. Still, I think he's perfect for me.

Keep in mind that this is my first ever attempt at anything like this. I'd love feedback and tips, but I'm really impressed with his turnout anyway.

On a serious note, this guy means quite a lot to me. I've had a really rough time of it for the last few weeks and Astley-making has kind of been a bit of an escape when the going got tough, so the finished product is already very precious.

MEASUREMENTS:

Head - 6 squares measuring 20 x 20 cm

Body - Front and back panels are 2 rectangles measuring 20 x 18 cm
Top and bottom panels are 2 rectangles measuring 10 x 18 cm
Side panels are 2 rectangles measuring 20 x 10 cm

Feet - Top and bottom panels are 2 squares measuring 10 x 10 cm
Side panels are 16 rectangles measuring 10 x 15 cm

Face + Toes [BLACK] - Toe panels are 4 rectangles measuring 10 x 3.5 cm
Face panels are 5 rectangles measuring 5 x 5 cm

Of course, all of these measurements can be modified for the look of the Creeper you're going for. For instance, the original Creeper design would have a longer body and probably a slightly smaller head, but I think he looks a little cuter this way. Also, you'll probably have to experiment with the face a little to find what looks right for you. I had initially planned to have 7 5 x 5 panels on the face but it didn't really look right when I pinned it so I took some away.

Feel free to use these measurements to make your own but I'd really appreciate it if you didn't reproduce for profit, even though I have no doubts that anyone could make one better and more sale-worthy than me
