"Dylan!" Mirajane screamed as Gildarts knocked them back once more.
"I can't, give up," Dylan muttered, trying to get up.
"It's okay to admit when you've been beat, Dylan," Gildarts said, taking a step forward.
"No!" Dylan nearly yelled, pulling themself up onto their feet, "I can't! Not until I've given it my all!"
Dylan's body continued to straighten up as the air around them started to swirl, confusing both Mirajane and Gildarts.
"If I gave up when I got knocked down, how could I call myself a Fairy Tail Wizard?" Dylan yelled as scales started to sprout on their cheeks, and their blonde hair started to gain a blue hue.
Dylan was entering Dragon Force; for the first time. But, this wasn't a true Dragon Force. This was an immature version, but it still gave Dylan a boost in strength.
