Just something different. A really lame drawing lol! I was very reluctant to upload this, considering it's awful looking, but meh!I was kinda disappointed with Serah's design in FFXIII-2 I was hoping that give her something more closer to NORA's designs. Something edgier and sexier.
I guess you could say that this is an older version of Serah~ 26, maybe 27? Her hair is slightly like Lightnings, considering the whole side ponytail is more "teen-like". She'd look good with her hair down I reckon.

I disagree. Serah's current design really shows her innocent air off very well, and I reckon that throughout FFXIII-2 she will delevop a slightly grittier edge as she discovers what is REALLY at the heart of the time paradoxes.
Also think about it; This dress is something that would suit Lightning MUCH better than Serah. Lightning's take-no-bullshit attitude would likely work with the black dress and brown belt combo you designed much better, considering that she is a fighter and a soldier, and she is willing to take risks.
Serah is much more innocent and kinder, and she also is much more girly as well. This dress would clash with her personality, so the current design as it stands now works much better than the one you designed.

I know it would suit Lightning more~ I drew her wearing this because I'm sure with Lightning being her elder sister, she really looks up to her and would slowly in her own way try to be more like. I know Serah is much more "girlier" and Lightning is the sexier of the two, but you can dress whatever way you want and still have an opposite personality. (Take Yuna in FFX-2 for example.)
And also, this is an "older" version of her, and I wanted to make her look more like a NORA member... (Which I failed at. XD)
Anyway, I only did this for fun, and I respect your opinion. But I really don't want to argue about it lol!
