This is nice aswell. I personaly like the new Dante. He is not as badass like the old one but the reboot of this franchise is what it needed.

From what I've heard, Capcom is now reluctant on continuing on with the original series. I hate a story when it leaves behind so many plot holes and plot inconsistencies.
And nice you've drawn New Dante with his newly-acquired all-natural silvery white hair he got after beating his brother New Vergil. Now New Vergil will become the Vergil we all know in Vergil's Downfall! Better get that, but for a fair price! I am so proud of Dante starting to redeem himself to call himself Dante by gaining permanent white hair!
Longtime DMC fan since Day 1 here!

Well, even if PlatinumGames were to help Capcom on the original DMC, with DMC1's director Hideki Kamiya in it and knowing his previous tensions with Capcom back then, their genius together won't be enough to fix the original canon story. DMC1's story was kinda choppy but the first game has the only Classic Dante incarnation I liked the most, because he has a well-balanced and original personality (knowing when to be serious and when to crack a joke); DMC2 Dante was dull and silent (I dislike him the most!) which goes same for its story; DMC3 and 4 Dante became more of an Inuyasha expy (I understand why fans consider him all anime-cliche). DMC3 Dante was also being milked at in the fighting game Marvel vs Capcom 3 and its extension Ultimate MvC3 anyway... I was one of the many MvC fans waiting for an MvC3 after MvC2; when it came out, I had mixed feelings about it (Ex. MegaMan is no longer in the roster but DMC3 Dante is in the roster and he has the most number of moves out of everyone in it). That's even sadder than rebooting the DMC franchise...
The reason why I hated stories with plot holes and inconsistencies left behind is because I don't want to drown myself in a sea full of questions regarding these as much as I want to seek answers to them. Good that DmC has no plot holes or inconsistencies so far... I just hope Ninja Theory knows what they're doing as they make strong stories with characters who develop and support the player characters from what I've heard (with a game like Enslaved, another NT developed game but for Namco Bandai); yet it's just wrong for lead designer Tameem Antoinaides to just shove his ego on everyone's faces and he needs to realize that he, as a game designer (my dream job as I got tons of game ideas in my mind, including my own take of Devil May Cry), cannot please all. So don't generalize NT as a whole; blame that guy who is giving NT a notorious reputation.
Before DmC's teaser trailer came out, NT first submitted concept art for Dante to Capcom, which was on the Classic Dante with red coat and white hair, hinting those who drew him are also DMC fans themselves. But Capcom themselves rejected the art and decided to change his looks... Tameem kinda agreed with Capcom on this...
I also heard many classic DMC fans would rather have Metal Gear Rising Revengeance because they believe it is a DMC game, a "savior of action games" and it is made by PlatinumGames, the same developer of Bayonetta; however, Kamiya is never a part of MGR's development team and that game is, ironically, hated by MGS fans who are only used to old MGS gameplay and story elements (Agent with the codename Snake, stealth/espionage tactics, Metal Gear monstrosity, etc.) because MGR is a hack'n'slash in genre and it stars Raiden. But the MGS fans have to understand that this game is an MGS spin-off and is targeted towards Raiden fans who wished to play as Raiden as he appeared in MGS4, the second Cyborg Ninja, the successor to Gray Fox AKA Deepthroat in MGS1. Hope you get what I mean...
Just hope that Vergil's Downfall DLC is at a right and fair price for us. In that DLC, New Vergil's fighting style is still like DMC3 Vergil's in DMC3SE (Summoned Swords, Spiral Swords, classic Yamato moveset, etc.), also there are two new enemies, and there are exclusive achievements/trophies for it. I'm just glad the only time he used a gun is during the trade between Kat and the demoness Lilith. I know many are disgusted when Vergil shot Lilith and Mundus' spawn in her womb, but those two were basically demons and Vergil cannot let them slip away, much to Dante's dismay.
In case if I ship any of the two Dantes, here they are:
Classic Dante x Bayonetta (This is quite a popular crossover pairing, but I thought of this with a friend before; we didn't realize how popular this pairing is! And Kamiya stated that Dante took the alias "Anthony 'Tony' Redgrave" in the DMC novels because he respected the journalist Antonio Redgrave, Luka Redgrave's late father. By this, it is possible Classic DMC and Bayonetta are canonically connected!)
Classic Dante x Trish (In Classic DMC only that is and they embraced in DMC1 after Dante sealed in Mundus for another 2000 years!)
New Dante x Kat (I believe Kat now loves New Dante in DmC's ending after he beat Vergil! I hope this happens if a DmC2 ever comes out.)
I give a high five back to someone who understands me as a long time DMC fan, who wants a sequel to DmC and hoping the original DMC would continue and have it "patched up" after DMC4's mediocre story and playing Dante again but only backtracking to where Nero had begun. I swear, if Capcom goes back to continuing Classic DMC, then I don't want a DMC4 rehash and another screwy story that would leave more plot holes and inconsistencies!
So for now, from the words of Classic Dante, keep it stylish!

See? I like both Dantes equally; they each have their own strengths and weaknesses, anyway! So why make a dumb and pointless fight between them?

It does. First came Naked Snake, who then was called Big Boss. Then came one of his "sons", Solid Snake, who became a new legend.
Now, MGS Ground Zeroes and MGS5 is in the works of Hideo Kojima. He may have some part of MGR as well.
And man, the theme "Snake Eater" sounds like I'm watching a James Bond movie.
