Thanks! Not sure if it'll help, but it helped me. I downloaded an app for the Iphone called Scott's Bird ID. It lists birds and their pictures of course but the most helpful feature is the bird call/sounds. I have Blue Jays, Cardinals, Starlings, and Sparrows that seem to be the most common around my house but not always willing to pose in the best position. I was sitting on the back patio looking at the app and played some of the recorded calls. All of a sudden Cardinals were flying closer and closer trying to find the one they were hearing. Got some great shots then. The Blue Jays did the same thing, which is where I got this shot from.

You're welcome. Unfortunately I don't have a smartphone or any apps. But I am glad you were able to get the shots you did and share them with the world.
