When Lorelai ends up in trouble, the trio have to save her and afterwards she thanks them before calling him Zak. Zak tried denying this by saying he doesn't know what she means but she stops him by telling him she knows it's him and it's not a big reveal. Zak asks how long has she known and she says she knew since he was 15 and pieced it together from there. She didn't say anything because she wanted him to tell her and his father when he was ready and readily keeps his, Neal and Rena's identities, but makes him promise to tell her more in the future with Zak agreeing.
