Heyy, this is pretty cool! I like the way you rendered the gold. If you're going for the painterly style, try mixer brush. It's honestly amazing with the right settings. That is of course, if you're using photoshop.

I got into the mixer Brush a little more lately but still have to find out how to really make it look good
