Interesting... especially the framing and how you've positioned the two pairs of feet right at the top, as if to emphasise the distance the two have come across together and how they've made their journal with each other and "not alone".

The monotone makes it all the more profound, and the place itself is pretty intriguing too. I can't help thinking that the water might resemble time in the sense of how it washes away the memories/beech/sand and whatnot...

It wouldn't be too bad as a square, this.
