Overall Disposition:
Cosette is a cat who almost constantly has something to do, or she'll find something needing to be done! She's not one that's happy to sit idly by, and enjoys keeping herself busy, always looking for a new task or adventure to go on. While always looking for new things to do and places to see, she isn't one that's often content with being told what to do. While she does respect authority and those above her, Cosette isn't often happy to be on the receiving end of orders being barked at her. She's not a fan of rules or anything of the like, and while she does follow them, it's not rare to see her go off and do her own thing. When she does have a task to do, normally its on her own terms and decisions, and there is a near 100% chance that it will be seen through to the end, and not a thread will be left unstitched. Cosette takes her work extremely seriously, and is an extremely hard worker, and her work reflects that! Although, while she takes pride and puts extra attention into her work, Cosette tends to be a bit reckless when it comes to herself. More often than not, Cosette will put the end result over how she may be affected in the process which has...landed her in the healer's den more than enough. She's confident that there isn't a situation she can't get herself out of, and the fact that she hasn't been proven wrong yet only fuels her ambition more.

Depending on who you ask, Cosette may either be seen to be quiet and keep to herself, or be quite chatty and outgoing. When in the presence of figures of authority, Cosette often keeps her mouth shut and keeps to herself. Being a bit of a rebel herself, despite her higher rank, she does sometimes still enjoy going under the radar with some shenanigans. Around close friends though, Cosette can be quite chatty and outgoing, often talking up a storm, aiming to get to know others well. She enjoys learning things and gaining more knowledge, especially about the cats around her. Anything that's told to her, she'll store away and keep in the back of her head for future use. While friendly and even quiet, Cosette's bark does have a bit of a bite to it at times, and she's no stranger to the occasional snarky or backhanded comment when someone else is acting a bit out of line.

STORY

Backstory:
Originally born into a tribe of humans, Cosette grew up alongside one in particular, serving as a hunting companion for him. She was very well taken care of as a cub, and was taught how to fish, track prey, swiftly take down small animals, and even aided in trapping larger prey such as deer. Her mother was also a part of this tribe, and served as a healer's aid. She helped to find herbs for her human, although Cosette never quite picked up on that knowledge. Growing up, Cosette only knew it to be her and her mother, seeing as her father wasn't around. Her mother often told her tales of her father, about how he died honorably in battle, and she saw how her mother's eyes welled up as she told her that she was nearly identical to her father. Both in personality, as well as in looks. Growing up, Cosette worked harder on her new skills, however she began to grow bored. Her life felt dull, only doing the same routine week in and week out, being confined to the tribe's territory. Any time her human wasn't paying attention, Cosette would wander further and further away.

Eventually, as she wandered, Cosette ran into another cat, one from a neighboring human tribe. Hurried and in a panic, the other cat stopped in their tracks to tell her that their tribe had been pushed out of their territory. When asking how, the answer was wild cats. Riddled with questions, the other cat took off quickly, and Cosette had no other choice but to return to her own tribe. Although she stayed with her tribe, her interest in these wild cats grew more and more each day. What were they like? Were they civilized? How did they manage to push a whole human tribe out of their own territory? As her own tribe proceeded to move their base North, Cosette loved being able to see more and more of the land, continuing to wander more and more each day.

Eventually, she ran into a patrol of these wild cats. Although they treated her with caution, the way they spoke about their life only excited Cosette, and she asked to join them. After being accepted into the empire, due to her prior knowledge of hunting and tracking, Cosette was welcomed as a full gladiator at the young age of only a year and a half.
