Pamela Isley was a student at Gotham University, a keen botanist and eco-activist. Upon learning that a rare flower was brought to the Gotham S.T.A.R. Labs laboratory, which was going to be used for experiments, Eisley enters the building and steals a plant, which suddenly releases a cloud of spores into her, which cause a mutation in Pamela's body that gave her the ability to telepathically control any plants. With her newfound powers, Pamela, taking the name Poison Ivy, intends to create a new world dominated by plants.
