You would not believe how many layers make up this bird.I almost went blind looking at him!
Took about a week of messing around with different shades of red and orange to get the right colour scheme and shading. Please note that there are way more drop shadows and gradients in here than should be included in ANY illustrator file. The poor computer I was working on nearly died twice, and outright refused to open any programs several times. Haha. Good thing it was buff!
He was originally made for a Christmas Card design for my internship placement.

This was made in Illustrator? I only use that program to edit and move around text for some kind of layout. I admire your patience with all of the layers because I think this turned out great. This could totally be a Christmas card!

Yeah, usually I use Illustrator for text too. For this one I had the benefit of having a senior designer hovering over me daring me to try it for an actual illustration xD
