I found this image so inspiring mate! I had to have a go at drawing it myself. I've only been drawing since May this year so I'm really happy that I could draw this and have it come out somewhat like the original in terms of the perspective and expression. I hope you like it and that you don't mind that I did a re-sketch. Any tips would be welcome but not necessary.

I was in Adelaide for years, and I've just moved up to the Gold Coast. I'm just starting back at the artwork full time again. I used to work full time in comics and animation, and finished up about 6 years ago! At that time I was pretty over doing other peoples very average ideas for average money. Believe it or not I helped a guy back in the 90's from sony pitch a battlechasers style idea for a game and TV show that got canned, because it was to mixed (manga/marvel) style. Could you imagine that now! It's been quite difficult to get back in, but I've got a comic coming out as part of square peg studios new 64 page book homemade. I've only gotta get 10 pages of that done quarterly. But ultimately want to print that story as a graphic novel in the end. I wanna get a bunch of other stuff happening as well. It would also be good if us Aussie guys could work together a bit more and aim for some grander goals! I know it's hard to find the time, but we could have a great little industry here. Especially to stay motivated after you've done your for money pics. It's also hard to find guys that are at a great standard ( such as yourself!) and for any of us to stay in touch!
