love the idea of getting crushed again and again unstoped as she keeps walking without her noticing anything

Nothing but a faded red smear on the bottom of a sandal.Β Β

It's a small detail, and even though they're similar, their sandals are a different style. I love these characters and they look so pretty peacefully walking. Those tinies are just way too small to be noticed.Β

By the shadow, it doesn't seem that Link is going to escape, but for what he could do in that size maybe it's better that he ends up crushed in the sole of Zelda's sandalΒ Β

Hopefully he still has a bit of stamina left for a full sprint. Or open the Sheikah Slate right away and warp to safety.Β Β

Maybe it's useful for one step, but can he get rid of the next step Zelda does?Β Β

Yeah, I honestly fell in love with her when I saw her Trophy in Super Smash Bros. Melee, for obvious reasons admittedly (even back then, when I was 13/14). I never actually played Link's Awakening until it was released on the 3DS Virtual Console. I was also glad to see her in Hyrule Warriors, even if I don't like the Warriors/Musou gameplay.

Super Smash Bros Melee Trophy was A++ for it's ability for you to zoom in.Β I got some close views of those sandals.

Yep, and I especially appreciated that her model had individual toes on it, as opposed to many games especially around the time (and after, including in Brawl!) where the toes were just textures. A bit surprising that they put so much detail into what was otherwise a minor aspect of the game.
