What are you using to make the line art? Also how are you filling in the colours? (It spilt out a little in the top right ) Or while I'm asking all these questions...what are you using to colour?

I like how you did the eyes and mouth of the mask.

hey tiff I used photoshop, use the ordinary paint tool in it to draw the line (on a seperate layer and made sure that stayed at the top), and im also using the paint tool to colour it on seperate layers, but ive also been using two other tools on photoshop I was unaware of which my girlfriend pointed out the burn tool (used that for the areas of shading) and dodge tool (for bright areas) but I still find that quite difficult to use, to be honest I still find it all hard to do which is why I keep practicing.

and thanks ^.^ I may in time go back to him and improve him once I feel confident with the stuff I never knew how to use before

I used to use the burn and dodge tools. My suggestion is don't do it. I've realized after much work with them and then switching to picking the colours myself that it looks much more natural if you try to work with burn and dodge (I had a very talented artist point out the difference for me once as well). Plus when you go over it with the tools you can unintentionally make something darker or lighter than you mean too.

For the lines I'd recommend you try using the pen tool as it can have amazing results on making a line less shaky than one you would get by using the paintbrush. I'm no good at making tutorials but someone I watch recently directed me to one she used that uses a similar method to what I've been doing [link] I don't simulate pressure though.

I hope you find this helpful or at the very least not offencive. I just feel like giving a bit of advice if you chose to take it.
