Ok, normally it's not kosher to post a comment that's about another comment without responding to said comment, but I'm gonna make an exception today, as the two comments I'm about to talk about (possibly three, due to one comment, at least through its phrasing, seemingly agreeing with this poster's message of how an Iran War would either be Iraq on steroids or the World War Three equivalent to "some damn fool thing in the Balkans ", but the guy who posted that comment also Favorited a ton of "war with Iran ain't a big deal, m'kay?" nonsense, so I'm not sure if he changed his mind or was THAT bad at phrasing his comment) are coming from guys SO far down the pipeline that trying to pull them up is only gonna get me stuck in a comment war I don't want to deal with.  But I also can't let those lingering farts of comments go unobserved, so I'll be talking PAST them for anybody who happens to stumble into this comments section, so they won't get the impression of "nobody's talking back to the warhawks, so they must be correct instead of impossible to have a good-faith debate with, right?"

For the first comment I'm "responding" to (second-posted), I will confess I'm not sure what the "they hit three of their own people thus far" line is supposed to refer to (as typing in "Iran killed three" only brings up articles on the jetliner crash in Tehran that killed three British nationals, which I'm pretty sure isn't the same as "the Iranians accidentally killed three other Iranians instead of us" like the line was implying).  However, to call pointing out a war that the US's own war games predicted would result in CATASTROPHIC casualties and a quagmire that would make Iraq look like Kuwait   would lead to, y'know, massive amounts of US Armed Forces dead and wounded as "fearmongering", but somehow not thinking that all the rhetoric by chickenhawks about "we gotta bomb/invade Iran NOW!" is NOT fearmongering?  Yeah, unless you're about to hop on the first military flight into Iran so you can actually put your 'keyboard warrior" fingers behind a trigger, your bravado is paper-thin.  And even if you ARE going, it doesn't change how the US having a direct war on Iran will only result in a decades-long quagmire at BEST, or everything going "damn fool thing in the Balkans " at worst, with no way the US can win (the way it hasn't won in Afghanistan or Iraq despite the wars there both now being old enough to drive, and that's assuming a direct invasion of Iran doesn't suddenly have China or Russia either give proxy aid like the Soviets did to the Viet Cong, or outright run in with their own armed forces to stop ours - see again everything possibly going "damn fool thing in the Balkans ").

For the second comment (third posted)...  Well, if you were gonna leave a comment, but then realized you'd only "waste your time", why even type that up?  If you wanted something absolutely ignored, you could NEVER look up this guy's posts or make comments on them for the rest of your life (it's the reason I didn't respond to your one Gish-Gallop reply to me listing off Trump's "accomplishments", and the reason I'm not actually replying to your comment below here either).  But by saying "Yeah, I would say something, but I won't waste my time.", you DID say something, you DID waste your time, and now you don't even have any arguments of your own out on the table, so you just look like a troll not even HIDING the fact he literally has no argument.  At least with MY response to you, I'm at least pointing out that what your doing is self-defeating and why, which at least accomplishes more than you essentially blowing a raspberry before running away.

Oh, and fun fact about all you "Let's invade Iran because the guy who said Obama invading Iran would be a disaster in 2011 is telling us we should invade Iran now " dipshits?  How are you reacting now that your God Emperor has just chickened out , and is (at the moment I'm writing this, anyways) seeking deescalation, rather than launching the "easy-to-win, American-casualty free" invasion of Iran?
