As the writer/editor/artist/everything of this comic, it's kind of discouraging. This comic is NOT meant to provoke or encourage such negativity. I mean, I understand where y'all are coming from, but still, sheesh...

That's one of the great things about Spike - he's always there when you need him.

I chose to believe this is simply a follow up from last page. To dismiss it as a dream would lose so much impact for me. Peoples, pay attention, if this was a dream Spike would have no reason to be mad. If this was a dream Twilight could simply sweep this under the rug. If this wasn't a dream, however, than Spike has every reason to be upset with Twilight but he's not. Do you follow me? He get it, he understands. TwilightΒ snapped at him sure,Β but it was because she was stressed and lacked sleep. Anyone would snap under those conditions. but I am getting off topic. If it wasn't a dream this speaks so much of how much Spike cares for Twilight, which I think has always been either exaggerated or understated, it's tiny things like this that warm my... whatever that thing in your chest is.Β

Don't understand why you'd be getting hate comments for this comic. If they are about how Twilight snapped at Spike then *pfft* on them, that part was a touch of realism that I'm sure we all have experienced before.
I think that adding "conflict" (regardless of what form it takes) makes a story more believable. Plus without it this page wouldn't be as "daww" inspiring, by having Spike stay in character and doing what he just did.
In short; pay no attention to the "haters", the comic is great how it is.
