I am really happy with how this one turned out, with its dark horns and bright golden scales against the red clay body. On a whim, I decided to apply actual 24kt gold flakes over the scales on its back, on its wings, and over the tail feathers. Shortly afterward, I also discovered that I had plenty of imitation gold leaf in my art cupboard I could have used instead! Ah well.My Etsy store:
