this is the first time i have gotten a decent shot of it, but i have seen it happen before. what i really want is to get a giraffe interacting with the neighbors on the other side, the kangaroos.

i was glad it was a peaceful scene. some of our herbivores can get aggressive.

it's the interspecies clashes in the mixed habitats that can get dicey. i saw a kudu one day that had been gouged by a soemmerring's gazelle. the gazelle was soon replaced with a gerenuk.
