This is a good and proper way to handle Amy and Sonic. He's dismissive and condescending, but not cruel.

Yeah. I may not be a big Sonic shipper (that's another can of worms entirely), but Sonic is in no way a complete asshole to Amy, let alone willing to simply let anything life threatening happen to her.

Yeah, this Sonic is a tad cold at times, but it makes him kinda fun that way. The way I see it, he can be a bit eccentric in any continuity, it's just he has less control over his temper in this one.

The characterization and dialogue on this page is perfect! I never really disliked Amy, but she was always in the way. This makes her seem less like a crazed fan girl and more like a concerned friend with a crush.
