lol at the current working title. This was an illustration project. Doing spot illustrations on either "Hospital Care" or "Go Green" After already doing a piece on abortion, I picked a more green theme and chose to make a few "green" characters. I usually do my "Twisted" amusement Park/ roller coasters characters: [link] [link] so doing these was fun and different. I had the most fun with the cars, but when I got closer to my deadline nd on my last spot (house) I rushed it a little. Might go back an touch it up if I ever get time.From left to right:
Mr. & Mrs. Clean (Green cleaning products)
Leo Light bulb (Energy efficient lighting)
Carmen(Green) Carl (Blue ) Electric/ hybrid cars
Robbie Recycle (Recycle bin)
Henry House (Solar powered house)

ya know, the mines to get the mercury to make 'green' electric cars, hurt the environment more than a ten diesel 'gas guzzler' trucks. so a chevy tahoe with a nine volt battery in it somewhere is more eco-friendly than a prius.
also, the gases in the florescent light have to be disposed of safely, which means being transported, having a new, separate factory built and used to safely remove the gases, which all cause add pollution to just sending it to a normal plant. ya.
i'm not against being green. i just don't blindly praise anything with a green sticker on it.
