Description Drawn from a photograph (and I'm 99% sure what I photographed was a Cactus Wren (Campylorhynchus brunneicapillus, family Troglodytidae)). I used a pencil and colored pencils, pressing hard where I wanted the darker colors. This is not a particularly fat bird, but when seen from this angle it looks rather plump.

This is actually not bad at all. I'm a bit intrigued by your skill. ^^- You captured a good amount of detail which is good in my perspective.

Instead of pressing hard on where you can see darker layers, trying building layer upon layer. It would look much more indepth and use more than one color if you wish! If you want to go a little more professional looking, you could always buy a pack of Prisma colored pencils. They're pricey, but a great investment. Compared to Crayola, Prisma dominants ten times as much.

Good job! ^_^--
