It's funny: I think one of the reasons I hated Jennifer Connelly when I met her (other than the fact that she carries herself like she's the greatest thing since sliced bread...I hope her husband cured her of that, because I love Paul Bettany)...ANYWAY...the other reason I hated her was because Labyrinth was my introduction to Mr. David Jones, and he will always be Jarieth (even watching The Man Who Fell to Earth, it was Jarieth without the makeup and hair!)

It's alright. I've only met a couple of "celebrities" (and while Jared Leto came to us and pulled my daughter over and sang to her, even though he looked at me to be sure I was alright with it (considering I bugged the sound guys, the lighting guys, the ushers, security, etc, to try to get the guys to mention my kids since it was their first concert, I was absolutely fine with it!!), I don't count that as "meeting" him, since I didn't get to speak with him.) Of them all, B.B. King was the best: it was a very brief moment (he bought some magazines at the bookstore I worked at), and all I could do was look at his hands, thinking about the fact that they are insured for $1 million each. The guy behind him asked him for an autograph, and then he looked at me, and I told him that I couldn't ask, it was too much of an honor just to meet him.
Anyway, I hope she's changed (it's been since 1993 after all!) I really like Paul Bettany, and it would suck if he was married to her and was she still a horrid person.

I met one of my idols this weekend and it was so inspiring. He was so humble and kind that it made the experience wonderful.

Thank you. lots and lots of practice for years. We are all different as artists. There are a lot of artists I wish I could be like but I have to remind myself that I have to be me and try to learn from them and grow in my way.
