Forgive the terrible quality of this picture, as it was taken with a digital camera. My scanner is dead... and I need a new one. ; ;I wanted to upload this because it's in real media for once! *gasp*
It's Wyn, who you may have seen in my last upload, standing on top of a mountain of some kind, looking over a landscape at night, trying to find somewhere to stay. Bran of course is flying overhead, scanning the ground.
I'm quite proud of this because it's not often that I draw backgrounds. In fact, I hardly ever do. Not like this anyway. But hey, I had some time to spare. ;3
Completely in pencil, apologies once again for the bad quality.

Hush you! The quality is fine fine fine.
I love this, especially how the title goes. I love how Wyn is standing there, looking so city-spawned with the spikes, and fishnet, and so manufactured. Yet the surroundings are so natural, and lack any sort of man-made qualities. The two oppositions just accentuate the longing that you get from Wyn (especially the pose and perspective), and you just can't help but go " Awwwwwwww ; ; *hugs*"

hmmmph why are you apologising for the quality? This picture is GOGEOUS the way the landscape slopes and the lil foresty bit are done very well.
