this is a spirt stone from Zelda. The first one was made from sculpey and was made by my friend DL. then i made a mold off it and cast it in red resin. this was the first one so it needs some touching up but i think it turned out good. the full set of 3 will be for sale this summer.Related content

You mentioned the first one being made from sculpey; is the gem itself made from sculpey or is that resin? I've always wanted to try making these but have had no luck. Clay just doesn't give the desired gem-effect.

lol thanks. i have kept my word about them being on sale this summer. at otafest in calgary we couldnt keep them on the table and sold out much sooner than i expected. if you would like a set i can make them for you and send them off once they are done. I now have the time to make them. the entire thing is all resin. it would take to long to cast the gem and them sculpt the gold parts to fit.

and that is real gold painted on them. i used liquid gold leaf. the blue one had some major flaws so im going to re-cast it before posting a pic. the green one is my fav.
