Description: Fennelwatcher is a short, heavyset, muscular seal bicolor pointed cat with downy, fluffy brown and tan fur, a brown nose, broad shoulders, and forest green eyes.

Personality and motives: Fennelwatcher is a serious, restrained, and hardworking cat with a bit of a short (ha!) fuse. They are often overworked and overstressed as they have to handle pretty much everything in the Clan, due to their elderly father and leader's declining health, which causes them to be a bit snappy and prickly towards others at times. They were assigned male at birth, but identify as agender. Their mate, Willowbriar, is a trans-tom, and Fennelwatcher will throw hands with anyone who refers to him as a she-cat. Fennelwatcher hates it when anyone mentions or makes fun of their abnormally short stature, especially their siblings (all normal sized thanks to their father) who like to tease them for it. They don't get along with their brother Emberleaf very well, as they both have tempers and tend to disagree on how the Clan should be run. Emberleaf also believes he should have been made deputy, not Fennelwatcher, and is jealous of his sibling. Fennelwatcher gets along the best with their mother, Frogshade (who they inherit their munchkin size from and understands what they goes through because of it) and their brother Toadface (a shy boy who inherited their mother's smooshed in face and is thus similarly teased). At the moment they're simply forcused on holding their Clan together through the last rocky moons of their father's leadership and not losing the last of their sanity while doing so. Fennelwatcher wishes Alderstar would just retire and let them offically take over, but they know the stubborn old tom will likely never do so as long as he still breaths.

NOTES: Trying something a little new with these Warrior cat OC descriptions. This grumpy child, who I adopted from , is the overworked and overwhelmed deputy of ShadowClan. Their father, Alderstar, is the current leader, but due to age-related health issues (arthritis, weakening bones, bad heart, memory loss, decreasing eyesight, and hearing loss) he isn't able to do much these days other than eat, sleep, and remiminsce about the Good Old Days(tm) with the other Clan elders. So it's up to Fennelwatcher to pick up the slack. Of course, one would assume it would simply be better (and easier) for everyone involved if Alderstar retired, but the old codger is far too stubborn and refuses to retire, believing that he's still more than capable of running the Clan even at his advanced age. Fennelwatcher and the Clan's medicine cats, Weaselpoppy and Toadface, have to basically restrain the fiesty older tom to stop him from leaving camp whenever he gets it in his head to go out on a patrol of some sort. He can barely make it to Gatherings as it is, so patrols are a no go. Fennelwatcher both craves for and dreads the day their father finally kicks the bucket, for as much as they love their father, they know that it would be the best for the Clan (and their sanity) if they were finally able to offically take over the leadership of ShadowClan.
