Yep. Rookheart lives in ThunderClan not long after SkyClan leaves the forest and twoleg houses are built in its place. The three SkyClan cats who stayed behind (Birdflight, Gorseclaw, and Spottedpelt) are all still alive when he is, with Birdflight being an elder now and her kits being senior warriors with mates and kits of their own.

That's just sad that Birdflight's kits were too young to travel with the rest of SkyClan and had to stay with ThunderClan.

Yeah. But then again, had they gone, they would have had to find a different place to live after SkyClan disbanded, either as rogues/loners or kittypets.

That's even sadder. And I hear things get pretty bad with SkyClan in Hawkwing's Journey as well.

They do. Darktail and his group kill a bunch of SkyClan cats and force them out of the gorge, and after that they loose more cats to sickness and twolegs. Thatβs why they end up back with the other Clans by the lake; they were forced out of their home, again.

And I think they loose the (then unnamed) Violetkit and Twigkit amongst all the chaos.

Pebbleshine (their mom) is accidentally kidnapped by twolegs while sheβs pregnant with them. She manages to get away somehow, but dies not long after she gives birth to them (likely getting hit by a car, since she made a nest under a thunderpath). We then know the rest of the story: Alderpaw. and Needlepaw find Violetkit and Twigkit and bring them back to the Clans. Eventually when SkyClan ends up at the lake, the two meet their dad, Hawkwing.
