Sadie had always struggled socially, and high school was the hardest challenge yet (or so she thought). She's about to find out the reason she's been so weird all her life while no one seemed to care. When Sadie becomes very sick and her cousin Amy visits her over Xmas vacation, her world is turned upside down. Amy informs her that Sadie is to become a creature of the night, a Worascis (pronounced War-A-sis), what a human would refer to as a werewolf (though they can't possibly be real, right?) Sadie will transform every single night for the rest of her life, and strangely enough, Amy made arrangements with the nearest wolf pack to take her in. There's still a lot Sadie doesn't understand, and on top of everything, something just doesn't seem right about Amy.
