Happy Werewolf Wednesday! I'm still sick and feel like crap it like...went away and came back.

A couple notes about the introduction of Sadie's "inner voice" or the "voice of the Worascis": In the novel, the inner voice is not something Sadie can see; it's just a voice within her. The audience (you guys) can see the dark werewolf as a separate entity from Sadie, but that's just to make it less confusing and help you understand when the dark voice is talking and/or to set its tone. In reality, the dark werewolf is just Sadie's other personality, the personality of the Worascis vs her personality as a human. I am not trying to spoil anything, but I think it's obvious that this "dark voice" will be the focus of Sadie's inner conflict. Its speech, which can only be heard within Sadie's head by Sadie herself, is shown in a black bubble with a white and different font. Sadie's other inner voice, that of her human personality, is shown in light green bubble with black font that matches the rest of the comic. The only things spoken aloud are bubbles with tails. Bubbles without tails are thoughts.

Sadie had always struggled socially, and high school was the hardest challenge yet (or so she thought). She's about to find out the reason she's been so weird all her life while no one seemed to care. When Sadie becomes very sick and her cousin Amy visits her over Xmas vacation, her world is turned upside down. Amy informs her that Sadie is to become a creature of the night, a Worascis (pronounced War-A-sis), what a human would refer to as a werewolf (though they can't possibly be real, right?) Sadie will transform every single night for the rest of her life, and strangely enough, Amy made arrangements with the nearest wolf pack to take her in. There's still a lot Sadie doesn't understand, and on top of everything, something just doesn't seem right about Amy. This story is about growth, change, overcoming obstacles, love, and betrayal. It's very, very special to me
