ACEO- mini painting.This painting was 2.5 " X 3.5" (about the size of a trading card).
It's one of many mini paintings I've sold on ebay. I liked how this one turned out. It's hard to find a balance between creating something lifelike, and letting the paint be paint. This is one of the few paintings where I think I've found a good balance.

Yeah, for the most part.
There were a few, a while back, where I was forcing myself to do something because I thought it was a popular subject at the time.
Now I try to use them to experiment with a new idea, style, or to sketch out a concept for a larger version.
