Niel Gaiman's Dream of the Endless: The Sandman, Morpheus, Prince of Stories, Lord of the Dreaming, The Shaper, Oneroi, etc. etc. Done in watercolor with a limited color palette to avoid Bleeding Eye Syndrome with all that's going on here!

This is a gift for my fiance, Bruce. Love you honey! We're both big fans of The Sandman! "Dream" also happens to be my favorite word, to the extent that I was given a silver bracelet by my mom with the word engraved on it before I ever read the series. This is also the mac-daddy, most involved, detailed, mother of all fanart I will ever do. (And if it isn't, I deserve to be committed! ) It was a labor of love!

I like to think of Dream in his role as the incarnation of all that is unreal- the Prince of Stories! So this is a mixture of dream imagery, random story themes, particular stories, and characters from The Sandman itself, centered around Dream.
