By closing 2023, i made this picture of everything happen during this year and man this time had a lot of surprises

Resident Evil 4 Remake: Let's start with a unexpected remake of a classic of classics, one of the games i played in my childhood has been modernized and with some new stuff and changes, currently im playing the game and i am enjoying so much the game with some difficult parts, also shortly after the base game got released, Separate Ways is also reimagined as a DLC, i barely recommend you play the remake, it doesn't surpass the original but is worth to play

Pizza Tower: One of the most infamous and current indie game ever talk about, inspired by the inactive series of Wario Land, when i decided to play the game, it surpass my expectations, sure some parts were harder, but i manage to beat it anyway, it is a shame then it didn't nominated as the indie game of the year, but it was fun to play.

The Super Mario Bros Movie: This one is special, the very first super Mario bros movie in three decades and it surpass my expectations, glad then Nintendo made a collab with Illumination studios to make an animated mario movie, of course shortly after the release the critics didn't like it since they never played Mario games to understand the references and callbacks, and it happen again with the FNAF movie, at least we will see more cinematic adaptation of several Nintendo IPs in the future.

Tears of the Kingdom: The direct sequel of Breath of the wild also surpass my expectations, sure Hyrule map was the same, but with new locations and challenges, the zonai arm mechanics reminded me to GMOD but with actual lore, it might not won the Game of the Year, but at least was worth the wait, we might not see more entries of Breath of the wild timeline for a while, but we might wait for another Zelda game since there some mysteries before BoTW events to solve.

Across the Spider-verse: Another great sequel of Miles Morales adventures traveling to different universes and stop a new menacing villain, sure he had some send backs and we will see how will end in beyond the spider-verse.

Marvel's Spiderman 2: Another great game of our friendly neighbor, and this time Peter and Miles will now have to deal with some new villains and the infamous symbiote Venom, i know then the game didn't got nominated in the game awards, however if you are a spiderman fan, enjoy the game as long if you have a PS5 and maybe we might get a PC port of the game like the last entries.

The Amazing Digital Circus pilot: Well, this was a very big surprise for the entire world, Glitch productions and gooseworx launched on Youtube the pilot of TADC and it broke the entire internet and currently has almost 300M views in almost three months, we hope then the creator launches the first season of the series in the future

Super Mario Bros Wonder: The current entry for the Super Mario Bros franchise, and this time a 2D game with several playable characters and levels to explore, and why not by touching the wonder flower, everything gets crazy until finding the wonder seed, by playing the game as Mario or Luigi, it is not the same thing without hearing the voice of Charles Martinet, but i respect his decision, aye least he will appear only on convictions, great game by the way

Super Mario RPG remake: another unexpected remake of a SNES classic, to be honest i thought then we will see the rom on the Nintendo Switch Online catalog, but they decided remake the classic game, i also played the original, but i never beat it until now, the gameplay feels great with the new triple attack mechanic and the option to switch between the modernized soundtrack or the SNES version, highly reccomend.
