I'm...quite confused. What was wrong with her canon design? She's supposed to look like her mother--that was part of the whole point. She's matured, and in some ways resembles her mother BECAUSE of that maturity and calm nature she's gained through the years. Besides that, it's her birth mother. They share a pointer chin...that just makes sense logically. No problem with having head canons, but I don't quite see why her body itself had to be 'fixed' when there was nothing wrong to begin with.Β

Well the problem is that she looks too closely like her mother and it's bland.
Plus Linda was born with a pointy chin from birth while Candace was born with a round chin, even if her face is a lot like a half circle, so if Candace grows old, her chin becomes more round and smoother.
And another thing, she lives in the future, so she's got to wear something so futuristic.

I wasn't really talking about the clothes, I just mean, like...logically, her genes are made that way. Her chin may have started OUT round, but at the same time all babies have the same sort of roundish face, and so do kids. Your facial features don't FULLY develop until that age where Candace was at.Β
And by saying it's bland, that basically means...Linda is bland? Which she's not. Candace got her mom's genes, plain and simple. It would be like saying that when Phineas gets older his head would be a circle rather than a triangle just because it was too bland to begin with.Β
Besides, Candace was/is rougly 15-17 years of age. She has plenty of time for puberty to take its course and alter her facial features and body structure.Β

What I'm saying is that not all people have the same genes as their parents.
I never said Linda is bland, I thought Linda was an awesome mother, and her design is pretty good. I still don't understand why Candace has got her mom's genes. Next thing, it could be that Candace might have got her mom's busting urge. Genetics don't work that way. Even if you have genes, it's all about personalities. Linda and Candace are a huge contrast in terms of personality, Linda is calm and mature while Candace is more crazed and obsessed with busting her brothers. And the idea of Phineas being a circle rather than a triangle because it was boring to begin with, I never meant that at all.
I know that Candace is 15 - 17 years of age, and puberty can change a person's facial features and body structure, but the point is that, it's okay to have puberty change your body, but sometimes you got to stay yourself.

That...argument has literally nothing to do with what I was saying. But very well--I was merely stating my opinion on the matter.Β

Well, If you look at Isabella and her mother and Ferb and his Father, they do share some genes.

...We weren't discussing Isabella and her mother, or Ferb and his father. But since you've brought that up for whatever reason, wouldn't it make sense for Candace to share the same genes? Which is what I've been saying?Β

Well, I don't see why it has to make sense for Candace to share the same genes as her mother? Besides the reason why I brought up Isabella and her mother and Ferb and his father is that there are some characters who share the same genes as their parents. Now you understand why?
And besides, Linda and Candace are actually different in designs. so why bring up the fact of them sharing the same genes?

...Family...shares...genes...that's...how...DNA...works.Β
I'm not entirely sure you understand what I'm saying. If Ferb's DAD and FERB share genes, it's because they're RELATED. It is passed DOWN through FAMILY. Isabella looks like her mother because her genes came from her MOTHER. Β The look alike because, by logic, they have the same DNA. The same thing applies to mothers and daughters, or mother and sons, or anything like that. Candace isn't adopted, meaning she was BIOLOGICALLY born from Lina. Ergo, they SHARE DNA. They look alike! They have the same hair color, the same sort of neck, and eventually, they do share the same figure and pointy chin. That's how DNA works.Β
I'm not even talking about clothes or anything like that. They share similar traits because they're biologically linked. This isn't a head canon, it's science.Β
