First off, I’m sorry for making all of you wait for so long. I suppose I just needed a break, and some time to think of what to submit next. -_-

After some consideration, I realized I needed to refocus on Silly Road, because she’s my best original creation, and so I must give her as much care as she needs. Besides, I thought a redesign was long overdue. 😅

For starters, I finally managed to give her hair the volume I’ve always wanted. It is wild and free just as she is, but kept short. She never did like long hair for herself.

Her rabbit ears droop halfway, only going straight up when excited or scared, and only going all the way down when sad or depressed.

She has feline slit pupils, allowing her to see better in the dark, and her psycho black optic rings in her eyes make her immune to hypnosis.

Her sharp cat fangs along with her rabbit incisors give her mouth a weird overbite. She shares this trait (among others) with her little sister Joy Road.

Her three squirrel tails are now fluffy, and more closely resemble a squirrel. They come out above her skirt just under her sleeveless top, which now has slight shoulder flares.

I changed the main color of her skirt from orange to blue to better match her hair. It was the only color I could afford to change so drastically. I think it flows better.

Her legs are now straight, and her large feet have paw pads on her toes and the palms of her feet, but none on her heels.

I hope this redesign is satisfactory.

Now with that out of the way, let’s get to her bio:

Her human name is Celia Rhodes.

She was born on February 9th, is 16, standing at the average height for her age (ignoring the hair and ears), is the smartest student in Alastor High with an I.Q. Of 160, and her favorite food is tuna noodle casserole with slivered almonds and shredded carrots.

She lives with her widowed father, and her little sister.

When she was very young, she loved cartoons, believed they were real, and wanted to be one when she grew up.

While her mother Gloria told her to follow her dreams, her strict father Dirk wanted her to take life more seriously. After she was confirmed to have an I.Q. of 60 above average, he put more pressure on her to succeed academically.

On her 11th birthday, an armed man posing as a survey-taker, shot Gloria and Celia as they had been walking together. This he did after Gloria refused to give him her bank card, and told Celia to run.

Both were shot through with the same bullet. The police arrived, forcing the criminal to retreat. Celia woke up in Alastor City Hospital after the doctors had managed to remove the bullet. Her mother wasn’t so lucky.

With the killer still at large, Dirk didn’t even allow Celia to go to her mom’s funeral. Celia stayed up one night soon afterward watching a marathon of her favorite cartoon, all while stuffing her face full of as much candy as she could stomach.

Dirk told her to go to bed, but Celia, hyper from the sugar and grieving her mother, cursed out her father, telling him that if her mom was a toon, she’d still be alive. She then broke down in a fit of hysterical laughter while tears ran down her face.

Seeing his oldest daughter had lost her sanity, and was frothing at the mouth, he arranged for her to be taken away to a mental rehab institute, where she would spend the next 5 years under the care of the director, Dr. Zane.

Unknown to Dirk, Dr. Zane used electric shock therapy to cure her of her madness tied to cartoons and tv.

When the 5 years were over, Dr. Zane returned a cured and submissive Celia, now 16, and with no joy left in her eyes. Seeing her little sister Joyce was the only thing that made her smile.

Soon afterward, her friend Nate invited her to come with him to paint the inside of a Sunday School room. With her father’s permission, she left with Nate, along with her older cousin Serena, three of her younger female cousins, two of her best friends, and her little sister.

Just outside the church, Celia found an odd can of paint with no owner. Not having her own, and since no one came to claim it when she called out, she took it with her inside.

In popping the lid open, she was splattered with a single drop of the paint within, and as she painted the walls, slowly started to transform. Once she knew what was happening, she tried to resist, but was overpowered by the fun personality she’d been forced to repress for the last 5 years.

This persona took over, reshaping her body based on an old childhood crayon drawing she’d made, and took on the name of that drawing, calling herself Silly Road.

Nate could only watch as Silly Road used the paint to turn the other girls into toons, and before leaving Nate unaffected behind, announced her intention to toon everyone, leaving Nate for last.

This small group of toony girls was stopped by the evil toon Duke Nightmare, who stole her paint and knocked her out.

Since then, Celia has had to deal with having a toony alter ego, and Silly Road along with her toon friends are on a mission to get the paint back from Duke Nightmare. All the while, Silly Road and the rest of the Silly Squad work to keep Alastor City safe from evil villains. She finds joy in saving lives and stopping criminals, and becomes the city’s defender.

Her standard toon powers include cartoon physics, immortality, and a fast-healing body made of living paint. She can also travel anywhere through portable toon holes 🕳 she pulls from invisible pockets on her skirt.

More custom powers include burning hair, retractable ice claws in her hands and feet, and teeth that deliver a powerful electric bite. Though she’d much rather use her Paint Pack Hammer, Gigaton Paint Mallet, and her Carrot Bazooka with homing carrots, as she considers herself a lady of refinement.

She also has Carrot Kinesis, allowing her psychic control over anyone or anything with enough beta carotene inside.

Using this power, she can even make such things explode, but she’d never use it on living beings.

She will display more powers as her series progresses.

Above all, knowing she’s a character, she wants to do her best to entertain you all with her story of bravery, heroism, and toony antics.

Silly Road and all other characters in her story are my OCs, so please don’t use them without my permission. 🙂
