Description this is a gift for my darling friend whom I adore. she never forgets me . . even when my life is mired in the hell it often becomes.

those who know her know she has a real love of bats . . so this little fellow was hard to resist. and he looks so smashing on the wine colored velvet! the lace is antique, the trim is accordian pleated (and much softer than it looks!), and the whole thing is accented with 3 genuine garnet teardrops. it goes out to her hopefully this weekend . . and I hope she likes it!

. .. she'll get the title. its sort of an "in" thing with us.

EDIT: she has it and she adores it!! I am so happy. ^_^

and yet again another thing I forgot to say here: I adore the batty's fat tummy....how sweet to see a fat bat, that means he did a good job at ridding the world of pesky bugs I've never seen a bat quite like him thank you for getting him for me

isn't it great! I saw that and thought, wow . . he's good at his job! lol. I hadn't seen anything like him before either . . with his very realistic appearance and lack of corniness . . . and the gunmetal coloring. just overall wonderful! wish they had had more . . I totally would have bought them all! ^_^ and you are very welcome hun! knew he'd fit right in with your little batty coven.

isn't he wonderful?!?! when I found him on ebay I just knew he was yours. he is the perfect little boy! and the garnet drops . . those were the final touch that almost wasn't. was afraid they might be a bit overboard! but they are smallish, so worked out really well. much better than the garnet colored faceted glass ones would have! this way, they are very much like blood drops.

This is so beautiful!!! I am tremendously honoured to wear such an amazing piece of art!!!! When I unwrapped this treasure, well of course my eyes popped out of my old noggin , I beheld it's beauty, the rich burgundy velvet contrasting the delicate lace, it touched my very soul as fine art can sometimes do. Thank you so very much for such an awesome gift

I have a new favorite of yours!!! This is gorgeous, darling! The wine red velvet is to die for (hehe), and the bat is just wonderful. Perfectly sized, and though you'd think it would look campy, it doesn't! It's elegant and beauuuuuuutiful!

awww . . thanks hun! ^_^ I am hoping she likes it as much as everyone else. get to mail it tomorrow in her box of goodies. I spent days searching for a bat that was the right size (etc) and not doofy or campy (turned out harder than I had thought!).

aww, thanks hun! I just couldn't resist his little face. ^_^ she actually has a Bat Tree in her living room, all decorated with lots of different little batties. so I figured it was time I made her a choker with them!

thanks! ^_^ he was just perfect; I did worry about his size initially . . . but after getting him curved and set properly he turned out to be the exactly right size!
