Simplified boots that mimic the contour and pattern on the pants would work well with it. And it's already Justice Leagues ahead of Lee's costume and the Man of Steel version.

I enjoy the stylized redesign of the 'S' - but I feel the boots could stand to be a little simpler. Overall, I'd like this a whole lot more than the DCNuperman version we'll be getting soon...
